This lamp is an attempt at a simple and functional LED task light.

Bright white LEDs are still in need of some enhancement when it comes to light output, but they offer many advantages over conventional tungsten based light bulbs or fluorescent lighting. They are tiny, give off very little heat, and use a small enough amount of energy to make battery power a viable option.

This lamp uses a counterweight as a balance, and the head is attached with a miniature jack plug - meaning it can be infinitely rotated.
